Peaches, Beans and Mars
What is the big deal about peaches, beans and Mars.
That is just what I have been busy doing.
I order peaches from our local grocery store.
4 Lugs of fresh Georgia peaches!
And in the start of a Wisconsin heat wave, I was busy canning peaches!
After sweating away in the kitchen, the next day I took a trip to Mars.
Journey To Space
at the
Science Museum of Minnesota
I will have more on this journey in a future On the Road Friday post.
Space an Out of Gravity Experience
And the beans are ready!
Wishing you all a great weekend.

I'm envious of your beans. We're close, but still have a couple of weeks. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteOk, so when I read your post title, I was trying to figure out how all those things were going to fit together. I pondered a bit before I clicked. Now I get it! I haven't had peaches in forever!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend.

You are so very industrious! And I love your kitchen sink! There is going to be some good eating at your house this winter, and memories of your summer excursions.

Lovely, I just finished making peach freezer jam, it's my most favorite one. And now I'm off to search for a recipe for dilly beans.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a trip to Mar's is just what is needed.

Yum on the peaches and beans.
ReplyDeleteBefore going to Scotland I was told that the national desert was a fried Mars bar. I must admit that I didn't see that myself but when I first read your post title I was dreading to see where it was all going. Outer space came as a nice surprise!

Oh my goodness...Georgia peaches! So juicy that when you bite into them the juice just runs down your chin...in a not so lady like fashion! :-) The taste of summer!
ReplyDeleteYum, I love peaches! I haven't been able to get any from the farmers market yet this summer, so I need to go soon before they are all gone. I love your cute farmhouse sink by the way!
