We are on the road today....no we do not have all this snow and ice in Wisconsin.
April Fools!!
We did have all this snow and ice in January.
We had the opportunity to ski Red Cedar Trail during candlelight ski night.
Red Cedar Trail is a beautiful ski trail in the winter and hiking and bike trail the rest of the year.
Red Cedar Trail is located in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
Our destination for this night ski is the ice formations. The Friends of Red Cedar State Trail volunteer many hours to create this special night, with the candlelight ski. They place the candles, have bon fires, cookies, hot chocolate and giveaways.
Wall of Ice
Everyone stops to take a photo of the ice formation.
You can see the candles and the ski trail in this photo.
Our family has enjoyed many candlelight ski trips. We have many memories and fun stories that go along with each ski.
Thank you for joining me today!
And this is what Wisconsin is starting to look like.
Spring has Sprung.
Happy Weekend!

Have a great weekend.

The ice formations are so pretty, Carla. You always visit the most interesting places. One of my blog friends said that she has snow in April! It looks like Spring has arrived in your area. Love those Purple flowers.

Your sons have such fascinating parents! Really, what a childhood you're giving them. I love reading about the adventures your family takes. And I have to read the Mole quote every time I stop by!
