It is Friday! I am happy to report that I will have some fun On The Road Friday posts coming up. We explored some fun new places over Labor Day Weekend.
I have some photos to upload and organize and I will be in business.
Today, I will share the perfect road trip cookie. This cookie is easy to store in an ice cream pail bucket, does not require a cooler and is the perfect snack or dessert for an On The Road Picnic.
The recipe is shared by Susan Branch.

ReplyDeleteOh how I love Susan Branch. I have been wanting to try those cookies, just curious how they taste. Guess I'll have to try.

They look wonderful! Cannot wait to see the pics of your adventures!
ReplyDeleteCarla... I am drooling! The thought of combining potato chips with a cookie makes me emotional. I'm no whiz in the kitchen but I will take a stab at making these. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWow ... these look very Yum!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend
All the best Jan
Oh my gosh... Potato Chip Cookies must be in the air? I have never made them, but was digging through old cookbooks just last weekend looking for my grandmothers recipe! I will have to compare hers to this and see what I come up with! Yours look so yummy :)
ReplyDeleteThose look yummy! Thanks for the recipe.
ReplyDeleteI have had these yummy cookies. Sweet and salty all in one cookie. Yummo!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week end.

I think I have that recipe in one of my books she wrote. I've never made them but a friend did and they were amazing! Baking season is rolling around! ;-D

Wow, who would think...potato chips in a cookie? I was just telling my kids last night that my Grandma used to crush potato chips on top of her ice cream. I guess it's a sweet and salty thing :) Have a lovely Sunday.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great road trip cookie since it doesn't have anything in it that will melt. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMMMHHMM! These look really delightful and yummy! I have never tried to bake with potato chips, now that sounds interesting! I can't wait to hear about your road trips, you always get out and see the neatest places! :)
ReplyDeleteThese cookies sound like the perfect marriage of savory and sweet. YUM!
ReplyDeleteMy aunt used to make me chocolate Pringles. She'd melt Hershey's kisses in a saucepan and drizzle it on a Pronged and then put another chip on top. A Pringle and chocolate sandwich! ;P
How interesting, potato chip cookies. I love pecans, and put them in my oatmeal sometimes. Your cookies look Yummy, Carla.
