Cranberry Harvest 2021

 Wisconsin Cranberries

Hello Friends,

My sister and her husband work and enjoy living on a Wisconsin cranberry marsh. This season our son Sam helped with harvest. I am sharing a few photos from harvest and a video. I encourage you to watch and share the video, it is always a good thing to learn how our food is grown and harvested.

Enjoy!

  1. These are cool photos of the cranberry harvest, Carla. It's wonderful that Sam helped out with the harvest. Love this picture of him. Cranberry juice is a favorite of mine. Isn't that something that your sister works and lives on a cranberry marsh. What a great post, Carla, and very interesting.

  7. Carla, thanks for the video. I loved it. We have a cabin in Tomahawk and go by a cranberry bog daily. For a couple years they weren’t harvesting, but this year they did! I was so happy.

  8. Carla, that was a fascinating video! And beautifully done! They must use a drone to get those incredible shots. I love cranberries so much, all year around, not just autumn and Christmas. The picture of your son in the sea of cranberries is sure a keeper.

  13. How fun. I've only seen cranberry harvesting from a distance...as we drive by along the highway. It would be fun to see it up close and personal sometime. :)

  14. That video was excellent. So nice that Sam could help out. What an interesting process the cranberries go through. I've seen them growing in Wisconsin but not how they are harvested. Thank you for sharing.
