What a strange and lovely photo. What is making the design with the snow?
ReplyDeleteI love that you find joy in the little things in life. Those I think bring us the biggest joy. Happy New Week my friend. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI like your list this morning, Carla. It made me happy. I think that purple flower in the snow was just for you. Homemade butternut squash soup sounds perfect on this cold December day. And candle light always makes everything so nice and cozy. It's wonderful getting stuff in the mail, isn't it?

That soup sounds wonderful! Stay warm and enjoy the holiday season!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Diane: the soup sounds wonderful on a cold night. Please share the recipe! :D
ReplyDeleteSoup is perfect in cooler/cold weather ... yours sounds delicious.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Those are truly wonderful things. xoxo
ReplyDeletePoor lil flower froze now. Janice
ReplyDeleteA wonderful list! And that purple flower looks a lot like a Mexican Petunia. I didn't know they grew way up there, much less in the snow, so maybe it isn't one. Whatever it is, it kept blooming right up to the end, bless it!
ReplyDeleteOh pretty! Yes, simple pleasures are the best. And the days will start getting longer in just two weeks. Yay!
ReplyDeleteCandle light and Christmas greetings - it's definitely the Christmas season. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI too am wondering about the design in the snow!
ReplyDeleteI am happy, to be feeling better. -smile-

True, I keep working on finding gratitude in each day. I love listening to Christmas Carols. Yum on the soup. I made some several years ago. I need to do that again. Sounds perfect having your kitty sitting on your lap.
