♥ butcher block countertops.. a backslash behind the oven and a surprise gift in the mail from a friend, a lovely chicken kitchen towel
♥ another surprise gift in the mail
♥ a message from our son "I got promoted to Corporal today."
♥ our hens have been on winter holiday from laying eggs.. Valentine's day we received a special Valentine indeed, the first egg of 2022
On Friday we found three eggs in the nesting box.. looks like we are back in production.

Son next door's hens are really producing now!!!! No more buying eggs here! :-)

Congratulations to your son, I know you must be so proud of him! He is dedicated and strong! Oh my gosh, I LOVE this blue!!! My kitchen is blue, but not the cabinets. I want more pics! And ones of the entire kitchen when it is done. It is such an exciting project!

ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you're getting eggs again.....and on Valentine's Day! You must be so happy for your son, and a bit nervous at the same time. The blue cabinets and cupboard are charming, and the kitchen towel is a nice gift from a friend. You can see all your pretty dishes through the glass window. I've been wanting that for a long time. I've always loved how it looks. So much to be thankful for, Carla, and I enjoy sharing it all with you on your 'joy list' posts.

Love your joy list, always so much to be thankful for! Love sweet gifts in the mail! And your kitchen redo looks amazing! I love the color you chose! How wonderful your chickens are back into egg production, that is always exciting :) Because we get such little light here in the winter, I leave a light on 2 hours in the morning, and 2 hours at evening, to give them a little extra light. This does help with my egg production during the winter. Have a blessed and wonderful week!
