Joy List Monday

 Joy List Monday

♥ a weekly ritual ♥

a reminder to stop and pay attention to the little beauties and graces that make life magical and to set aside time for gratitude each day

Made in Holland

We recently stopped in at our favorite Gouda Cheese Shop and we were given a free mustard sauce to try. It is delicious and it is all gone. I loved dipping my chicken tenders in it and with my hard boiled eggs.

Spring has sprung here in the garden.

Ernie and Penelope.. are like little children, they want to get in the bathroom with you. My husband is busy using the loo, with the door closed. They are saying"let us in"!

My friend Khristeen sent me this photo via text message. More signs of spring and more taking time to stop and notice the little things.

Our first duck egg... from Lucy and Ethel. Not sure who laid the first egg, but thank you.

♥

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile.

  2. Ha Ha about Ernie and Penelope! That is so true. The dip sounds delish. A guy Terry works with gives us duck eggs from his ducks. OMG they are the best. They are the best for baking I have been told. I just love them to eat. Happy New Week. Hugs. Kris

  6. How are you cooking the duck eggs? Do they taste any different from chicken eggs? I guess among dogs, it must be a big deal when any of them goes to the bathroom!

  8. Love how your pets want to be your audience lol. Don't think I've ever eaten a duck egg. How does the taste compare to a hen's egg?

  9. Oh, your first egg! That would be so exciting to see. That mustard sauce looks tasty, and what a good idea to put it on chicken tenders and hard boiled eggs. Penelope and Ernie look like they are good friends now. ; ) Your "joy list Monday" posts have always made my heart smile, Carla. Love them to bits.

  11. I forget how much farther north y'all are. The daffodils look so pretty! I think it's so funny how pets always want to be with you...that's a funny photo! Are duck eggs smaller than chicken eggs? How do they taste?
