My Mom's Spring Garden

We visited my parents this weekend. They live and work on a dairy farm in Phillips, Wisconsin. My mom has amazing gardens. I always say it is because she is lucky to have great fertilizer on hand from her Holstein cows!
Flocks
A full nest of flocks
Violets
Her bleeding hearts are what amaze most people. They are bushes! Strangers have stopped to see her bleeding hearts. They are amazing. She has pink and white.
Tulips, are her new flower. She is planting different tulips and playing with them in her garden.
I loved this tulip.
One of the tulips above had a spider living in it...a little one. I tried to get a photo, but I could not do it. The little spider would curl up and you could not see him.

I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all.

  1. Beautiful! Maybe with some encouragement my bleeding heart will look like that someday. :-)
