Wisconsin Autumn and Woodsmoke
Joy List Monday

♥ homemade cookies from my friend Kathy
What is this building in your header? I have seen a few like it. It looks like just the roof of a house! I will likely feel dumb when I find out.
ReplyDeleteGratitude every day is so important to me too. Before my feet hit the floor in the morning I give thanks to God for the new day and all it brings and also for keeping me during the night. We have so much to be thankful for. Today is our Thanksgiving Day.
ReplyDeleteLike Ginny, I was wondering what was this low building. I was wondering if it was built on a slope with the soil higher in the back. It looks like a beautiful spot by the lake.

HOMEMADE COOKIES!!! WHAT COULD BE BETTER"
ReplyDeleteI hope there was tea to dunk the cookies in. Bliss!
ReplyDeleteOh to get homemade cookies is the best! Love your joy list each week. Happy New Week Carla.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kris
Awesome list! We have been on a kick of adding fresh mushrooms to our pizza. Believe it or not we love flannel sheets all year long! Enjoy the rest of your week.
ReplyDeleteI always loved flannel sheets! You've made a great list this week! ENJOY!!!
ReplyDeleteFlannel sheets and wood smoke are definitely on my list this week, too (flannel sheets on my side of the bed, anyway - my husband doesn't like them so much. But we both love our new super-efficient wood stove!)
ReplyDeleteYou almost make me appreciate the cooler weather--almost. I'm generally happy with the weather in S. WI from about late March through October. But winter scares me, plus I have to wear socks. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh flannel sheets!! I need to get mine out...it's not quite cold enough here yet.
ReplyDeleteWe do miss a lot when we don't pay attention to the little beauties and blessings all around us that we sometimes take for granted.
