Hello Friends,

Hello Friends,

With a sadness in my heart, I have to share with you that Marv has passed away.

In the morning hours of May 30th, Marv went to sleep and did not wake up.

His ashes will be scattered with his wife in a garden that they both loved.

I will share more about our memories of Marv in a future post.

Today, I ask for prayer, for family and friends.

Marv was a Korean War veteran. He was a true hero. To have him pass during the Memorial Weekend has its own special place for me and my  family.

  1. Oh, how sad. Even though you could see his decline, how sad anyway, we are never really prepared for someone to pass. Yes, prayers for those grieving Marv. Korea, the forgotten war, I am glad finally that is getting corrected and Korean War Veterans like Marv brought to mind on our patriotic holidays and days of remembrance.
