I love this house, and the wildflowers in the garden!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed reading what was on your list and those daisies are just wonderful against that blue birdbath. We all need to take time and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us. God's beauty is everywhere. Janice
ReplyDeleteLove your joy list. New sheets and night gown ahhhh so nice. Have a good week. Hugs my special friend. Friends are the best joy in life. Kris
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are so pretty. Thank you for the reminder for gratitude. Love your list, it sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLove your flowers. The only ones in my garden this year are lavender. Life kind of got in the way of doing much else.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, brand new sheets! I adore clean, crisp sheets smelling good from the dryer. I recently bought three new sheet sets because I FINALLY found some with pockets deep enough that they never drift up at the corners. Never. They have them at Walmart: they're called hotel style sheets. The corners are sewn with wide elastic bands that grip way up under the mattress and never come loose. Plus they are soft and just a dream to sleep in. I hope you got some like those, hahaha! And of course your flowers are always dreamy too. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOne thing that stands out to me is the New Sheets. I LOVE new sheets and clean sheets. Don't you just love having fresh eggs? They are so rich and taste so much better. Love all the wild flowers..absolutley gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteSounds like some wonderful treasures...the personal comforts and the people and the beauty all around. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers. We've had everything bloom early this year due to high temps, and they're pretty well spent already. I may have to start buying flowers for inside again in order to have color. Nice list. Top 2 things for this past week would be getting to talk to our daughter more than usual on the phone, having a couple of special meals out.
ReplyDeleteI love new pjs! And fresh sheets on a bed are definitely one of life's little pleasures. Your flowers are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteA brand new nightgown...it really is the small things!!
ReplyDeleteSo many things to be thankful for in your world, my friend. Getting a new nightie is always a treat. I've been wanting one myself. Dinner with Sam sounds so special. And are those daisies in the last picture? They are lovely as ever. Have always reminded me of my mom. Thank you for your "joy list" posts. They are always filled with so much goodness.

A lovely list! Today I am taking joy in the mild temperatures and loving every minute of the day.
ReplyDeleteYes I am commenting again after catching up with the posts I missed out on as I have been so busy, but NOW I have a new nightgown! On account of leaving my adored black Shadowline ankle-length gown hanging on the back of the bathroom door of our suite in Cleveland (yes I am getting it back) I was moved to buy a new Shadowline gown. They make the best gowns in the world, IMO. So I got a different style, still black, still ankle-length, but with lace at the top, and it is very generous when it comes to the lace. Feels like I'm wearing a whisper! xoxo
