I love that we start to have more daylight, stronger sunshine and SPRING!
And it is this young ladies birthday in the month of March. Our son Sam's girlfriend, Cate. We will plan a fun outing to spend time with them.
2. Hey! Did you know March is National Celery Month? Do you like celery? What's something you make (or like to order out) that calls for celery?
I do like celery, my son Atticus does too.
I just made chicken noodle soup and I put in a nice amount of celery in the soup.

I am going to pick the movie .. Cars soundtrack.
4. Share a favorite motivational quote for overcoming challenges.

My husband and I will start a study this evening, The Paschal Mystery, reflections for Lent and Easter.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
My friend J made these mittens for me out of a sweater. They have been lifesavers during our cold, cold weather this winter. Negative temps... no problem with my mittens made with love!!
Adorable couple. Love all your answers. Happy Wednesday. Hugs. Kris
ReplyDeleteThe mittens are so cute! I put a lot of celery in my chicken soup too. It wouldn't be as tasty without the celery. I would not like waking up to a blizzard today. Hang in there, because in spite of how it looks outside, spring is coming! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a gret quote and how kind of your friend to make those beautiful mittens! I am so glad it is March. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteLove your mittens. Hope the storm doesn't turn out to be too bad. We've finally got sunshine and it feel spring like here.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute couple :) Those are really pretty mittens, and they look so warm especially for Wisconsin weather. I always enjoy your Hodgepodge posts.
ReplyDeleteI forgot about March having more light. That's my favorite part of summer.
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope the snow goes quickly without any fuss. I hope you have fun celebrating Sam's girlfriends birthday.
ReplyDeleteI love that song off Cars.
Those mittens look perfect for the cold weather you've been having.
The mittens are beautiful, what a nice gift from your friend. I like your icicle photo. March, same same - more daylight, warmer signs of spring!
ReplyDeleteHello dear Carla! I love March too, for all the reasons you listed, and then some. Your Sam's sweetheart looks very sweet indeed. I love celery and so does TG. He eats it with peanut butter. I like to put it in potato salad and my potato-corn chowder and things like that. So refreshing! I'm so looking forward to Easter, which is late-ish this year on 4/20. It will be a beautiful day! Love your mittens! xoxo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful mittens! How kind of your friend to make them. I can't believe your weather- all that snow and cold, still. I like the Anne Frank quote- so true. I like the song, "Life is a Highway" and your analysis of it is spot on. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I hope the storm is not too bad. Have fun celebrating Sam's girlfriend Cate. Yum on the soup. That's a good song choice. Interesting quote. Hope your study goes well. That sounds sweet for the two of you doing that. Those mittens are adorable. Enjoy your day.
