Black little chicks..
More black cuteness.. fuzzy little chicks.
These little ones are growing up.. black and white!
Sharing black little chicks that grew up to be black and white hens.
The Barred Rock (Plymouth Rock) chicken is one of the all-time, popular favorites in the U.S. They can't be beat for steady, reliable chickens.
And if you are wondering if there is more to this post. And that it cannot just be a post about sharing a color of the month of cute black chicks. You are right!

Yay for cute fuzzy chicks! Elaina and I were just talking about hatching chicks this spring in our incubator. :) I'm excited to hear the rest of the story!
