Joy List Monday
♥ a weekly ritual ♥
a reminder to stop and pay attention to the little beauties and graces that make life magical and to set aside time for gratitude each day
♥ Picking fresh raspberries ... making Raspberry Cheesecake Ice Cream
♥ Safe Travels for my boys and husband...they are in Ohio for the week
♥ Cooler temperatures for last Friday's Farmer Market
♥ Friends who check on me ... they know summer is a busy time ... I appreciate the extra e mails, notes and friend love
♥ Humidity ... I do not really like humid weather, but my plants do
How about you? What do you have on your Joy list?
We picked fresh raspberries last week, so delicious! Have to get back there this week! This ice cream looks delicious! I hope your hubby and boys are having a good trip to Ohio! My hubby is headed to Dallas and Durant, Oklahoma for business next week - it's a long way from here! Sounds like your gardens are thriving in the weather! We are heating up again after 60 degrees this past weekend, the next 4 are supposed to be 90+!
ReplyDeleteMy joy of the week was taking garden fresh veggies to my grandparents, and seeing the big smile on my grandma's face. Nothing makes me happier than brightening my grandparents day :)
ReplyDeleteI love the farmers markets here and look forward to them each week to get fresh produce. Gives me joy and yum! Safe travels for your boys and enjoy the week to yourself!!!!

Well, doesn't that look delicious!! I know you'll miss your boys (all three of them!!) tons, but try to enjoy a little quiet time with your kitties! :)
ReplyDeleteNice reminders! I love summer, but it passes too quickly so I don't like being busy. Fortunately, August will be a little less "planned" than June and July. (Fresh raspberries and ice cream! Yum!)
ReplyDeleteThat ice cream sounds divine, how nice that you can indulge in it all by yourself.
ReplyDeleteAt the top of my joy list is my AC. It is scorching here and super humid.

Love your list and I would love some of the raspberry cheesecake ice cream!
ReplyDeleteI like your "Joy List". It's important for us to remember to count and list those things which we are blessed by.
ReplyDeleteOoooo, the raspberry cheesecake ice cream looks so Yummy. I hope all the men in your family had a fun time in Ohio. Don't like the humidity either, Carla, but it's not humid here in California, just very warm during the summer. :)
