Book Review X 2

 Lost in the Wild
Cary J. Griffith

Danger and Survival in the North Woods

Lost in the wild is about two different men who are lost in the
Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

I enjoyed Lost in the Wild. The Boundary Waters are only about 4 ~ 4  1/2 hours away from my home. We know many people who enjoy a getaway to the Boundary Waters.  I have not been to the Boundary Waters. I have new respect for those who do venture into this wilderness.
It was a fascinating read.

A creative novel by Katarina Bivald, she used books, many of them that we all have read, in her novel. It is well done, I enjoyed it and it made me want to open a bookstore.

  4. So glad you like BWCA book. I Loved it. Boundary waters sounds like a busy place compared to social distancing right now!

  6. I'm pretty sure they did the second one on Chapter a Day on WPR - I remember hearing a couple of chapters. I enjoyed the bits I heard!
If I still remember when the library opens up again, I'll have to check out the first one. We also have friends who've been to the Boundary Waters and highly recommend it.

  7. Your review mkes me want to read these books, and I'm not much of reader; can't sit still long enough. :) But I am going to look for these two, and read them.

  8. They both sound like great books! When my sister and I still lived at home, we took many family vacations in the Boundary Waters, so I have great memories of visiting there and will have to look for this book. I know you would enjoy visiting there immensely.
