Joint Task Force 64

He is back! Our Wisconsin National Guard son is back from a 4 month deployment to help with the COVID-19 Response. He earned the pins I shared in the photo above and a special patch for his uniform. I want to THANK all of you for the special prayers for him and our family during this time.

This was the suit he started with.

But they started to get hot wearing these. As the months of testing continued, they switched to wearing scrubs, masks and a face shield.

We celebrated with a tasty meal of BBQ chicken, homemade Mac -n- Cheese, fresh veggies from the garden and homemade cupcakes. I will share the recipe soon.

Thank you again for all the support!

Ring, Ring ... Sam just called, "Hey Mom, I am activity duty to help with the elections, I will be gone August 9 - August 12."

And off he goes...

  4. Carla what a beautiful human being you created in Sam. What a wonderful career path he has carved out to support his giving and loving personality. He looks so cute in his uniform and that smile. He is a cutie. Give him lots of kisses and hugs and tell him how much we all appreciate his service to our country. Those cupcakes look so yummy and that meal sounded pretty fantastic too. Big Hugs. Kris

  8. It was about your request, for me, to review "Midnight Sun."

Actually, if you did not read the 4 books, in The Twilight Saga, you would have no idea, what goes on, in this latest book. But if you were a Twilight Fan, 15 years ago, you should really read this one. ~smile~
