  4. Great photos! What kind of camera/lens do you use for your nature photography? Your raised garden beds sure look nice (I'll bet they look even better brimming with green leaves and produce in the summer!).

  6. Oh, you got some nice snow there. I'd say I'm jealous, but I have mixed feelings...it would be great for the plants but not for driving. Beautiful photos!

  8. I'm not a fan of winter, but you captured some gorgeous shots! Haven't done the peanut butter on pine cones in a long time. Had forgotten about it. Used to do that when our daughter was young. The other thing we used to do was string popcorn and cranberries on the tree and leave that out in the yard on the tree for the birds until spring.

  11. These photos are so pretty! I've been trying to make an effort to stop and appreciate the beauty around me as well. I haven't been doing a very good job of it with how busy work has been, but this has me wanting to do better. Thanks so much for sharing!

  13. The snow on the seed pods is very whimsical! And there's your feather! I love it!

  14. Good idea placing the Christmas tree in the garden for the birds! The seed pod photos are nice - at first glance they looked like 🪶 feathers. Here oleanders are shedding their seed pods everywhere. Fury material that blows in under the garage door - it’s everywhere!

  15. I came right over when I saw your joy list post on my side bar. It brings me joy too. ; ) The feathers that you noticed on your walk are really neat. And those seed pods are so interesting and beautiful. It looks like you had a good amount of snow. That is so nice of you to hang pine cones with peanut butter and bird seed on your Christmas tree outside for the birds. They will surely love that. That's such a creative idea, Carla. And there's nothing like a cup of hot tea and a cookie. I will make myself one right now. I so appreciate your joy list posts, Carla. They are so uplifting, especially with the weight of the fires down south. love you, friend.

  17. A great idea for your Christmas tree. I use to do this when we had real trees when the kids were younger. It was great for the birds. Your snow pics are beautiful too! Janice
